East Farndon earthworks at sunset

East Farndon earthworks at sunset

Description

Title:
East Farndon earthworks at sunset
Caption / Description:

Looking west towards the sunset from some earthworks in Hall Close, East Farndon.

It is not known what the earthworks are the remains of or were built for, but the current view is that they were probably an old road. The road was probably abandoned after enclosure in 1781.
