Old railway line at sunset

Old railway line at sunset

Description

Title:
Old railway line at sunset
Caption / Description:

Looking east along a section of the old Rugby and Stamford Railway line between Market Harborough and Lubenham, in Leicestershire, England.

The line opened in 1850, but was closed under the Beeching cuts of the 1960s. Today it is a popular route with dog walkers, and a wildlife haven, particularly for insects.
