A ventillation grill on the entrance shaft to the ROC bunker at Clipston, Northamptonshire, UK. Behind the shaft can be seen the Fixed Survey Meter (FSM) pipe and a ventilation shaft.
The nuclear observation bunker was built for use by the Royal Observer Corps (ROC) during the Cold War. A team of two or three people could be stationed at the bunker and monitor fallout and radiation levels in the event of a nuclear attack.
