Infrared photograph of Common Dandelion, Taraxacum officinale flowers. When photographed under visible light the foliage in the background would appear quite dark compared to the bright yellow flowers. However when photographed using only near-infrared light, the foliage and flowers both reflect approximately equal amounts of light.
