Ultraviolet photograph of two flowers of Ground Ivy (Glechoma hederacea). Under visible light the plant has small blue-violet flowers with a deeper purple colour around the entrance to the throat. In ultraviolet the flowers look very similar, with a darker area around the throat of the flower.
