Ultraviolet photograph of Orange Hawkweed (Pilosella aurantiaca) flowers. The fully open flower does not differ greatly in appearance in ultraviolet compared to visible light. The main difference is that in visible light the centre of the flower is slightly brighter than the outside, while in UV this is reversed, with the centre being slightly darker than the outside.
