Infrared photograph of Orange Hawkweed (Pilosella aurantiaca) flowers. The flower's appearance in IR is not greatly different to that in visible light. The flower appears a single tone in IR, compared to having a brighter centre than edges in visible light. The old closed up flowers appear much brighter in infrared than they in visible light.
