White Spirea flowers [IR]

White Spirea flowers [IR]

Description

Title:
White Spirea flowers [IR]
Caption / Description:

Infrared photograph of the flowers of a Spirea cultivar, possibly a cross between Spiraea nipponica and Spiraea × vanhouttei.

In infrared the flowers appear very even in tone, with little difference between the petals and the centres of the flowers. In visible light the centres are slightly darker. The stem and leaves also appear much brighter in infrared.
