Infrared photo of a Ranunculus bulbosus (Bulbous buttercup) flower. In infrared the foliage in the background behind the flower (and the flower's stem) appear much brighter than in visible light. The pistils at the centre of the flower also appear brighter, matching the stamens and petals in tone. The markings at the bases of the petals can still be seen in infrared.
