Hosta flower [IR]

Hosta flower [IR]

Description

Title:
Hosta flower [IR]
Caption / Description:

Reflected infrared light photo of flowers of a variegated Hosta cultivar. In infrared, tonal differences between parts of the plant are lost, with all parts appearing similar in tonality. The clear sky is much darker in infrared, meaning the thin parts at the edges of some of the petals are more obvious than they are in visible light.
