In ultraviolet light there is less difference between the fresh flowers (white in visible light) and the older flowers (yellow in visible light). There is still some difference though, the fresher flowers have a stronger false blue hue than the older flowers in ultraviolet.
The variegation on the leaves is lost in ultraviolet.
