In infrared the plant appears very different from in visible light. The colour differences of the fresh and older flowers are lost, however there is not actually much difference in terms of tonality between their appearance in visible and infrared light.
The leaves are brighter in infrared, having a similar tonality to the flowers. They also lose the variegated pattern that is present in visible light.
