Yellow flower of a cultivar of Tropaeolum majus, commonly known as Nasturtium.
The flower has darker orange markings at the base of its bottom 3 petals, with a frilly edge pointing in towards the centre of the flower. The top two petals have more intricate markings, with a dark red patch around the centre of the petal, and various lines pointing back down towards the centre of the flower.
In the centre of the flower you can see 3 stigmas on a single style emanating from the ovary. Around it are 8 stamens, 2 above, 2 to the left, 2 to the right, and 2 below. The anthers bear yellow pollen grains. - Tags / Keywords:
