Ultraviolet photo of the flower cluster of a Sweet William (Dianthus barbatus) plant. The flowers are much darker in UV than they are visible light. The pattern seen on the petals in visible light is missing in UV.
The underside of the petals in UV is not as dark as the upperside, though still a lot darker than in visible light. The filaments and stigmas are both darker in UV.
