Sheep on the Long Mynd

Sheep on the Long Mynd

Description

Title:
Sheep on the Long Mynd
Caption / Description:

A sheep grazes on the heather and grasses growing on the Long Mynd ('Long Mountain') in Shropshire, England.

With an average of 2.5 sheep per hectare on the Long Mynd, overgrazing can be a problem. The National Trust (who owns the land, but not the grazing rights), would like to see the sheep numbers reduced to less than one sheep per hectare.
